Visited this campsite for the Summer solstice and it is a very good site for families, couples and dogs.
It is in an excellent location for sight seeing and bike rides. Arbour Low stone circle is less than 5 miles away. We were lucky enough to visit on a clear night and the array of stars was fantastic.
There is a good campsite shop and play areas for the children, well behaved dogs are welcome and you are allowed to have a camp fire.
First campite we have visited which did not make you buy wood from them to be able to have a fire!!
The amenities, toilets, showers and pot wash areas were all in good condition and kept clean.
The owners of the site were very friendly and helpful and they ensure that noise is kept to a minimum later in the day.
All in all a very good place to stay.
