Edinburgh is a fantastic city to explore with your dog. The city is so dog friendly they even have a statue to commemorate one of their most famous dogs!
Greyfriars Bobby, the Skye Terrier, spent 14 years guarding the grave of his owner and former night watchman, until he too passed away. The story of his loyalty moved Lady Burdett-Coutts so much, she commissioned a water fountain topped with a statue of the loving little dog in 1873. You can still visit this statue at the junction of George IV Bridge and Candlemaker Row.
