Wessenden Valley comes in at just over a 6 mile walk. You can take a circular route across the stunning moorland valley from Marsden. This is definitely a glorious walk for your dog, with breathtaking views all around.
There are loads of open fields for your dog to run around and you will come accross six massive reservoirs in the area – Blakeley, Butterley, Black Moss, Wessenden, Swellands, and Redbrook. You will even find some mini waterfalls on the route too. When you’re done, head back into Marsden and enjoy a well deserved pint at The New Inn.
The best place to park is in the National Trust car park.
